Help Annie Ratliff Brandt Make Every Mile Count!
Accelerate the fight against ALS with ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½!
Annie Ratliff Brandt has a deeply personal connection to ALS. Her father passed away four years ago, but his best friend Scott, diagnosed with ALS 15 years ago, continues to inspire her. Despite the challenges of ALS, Annie’s father and Scott never missed their annual hunting and camping trips, always finding ways to keep their adventures alive, whether it meant her father carrying Scott up a hill or Scott bringing his cane.
When Annie’s father became ill, she was newly engaged and worried about who would walk her down the aisle. Scott, understanding the situation, immediately offered to step in, although he hoped it wouldn’t be necessary. Her father was able to walk her down the aisle, but sadly passed away a few months later. Throughout that difficult time, Scott was there every day, sharing stories, checking in on Annie and her family, and reminding them of her father’s love.
“To honor my dad, and my dad’s best friend Scott, I am honored and thrilled to be running the New York City Marathon for ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½â€
